Arrival to the Colombo international airport, transfers to Beach hotel in Negombo. Free, overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Negombo – Sigirirya. ~ 150 km
We start our trip by visiting the Negombo fisk market & Ducth fort then riding to Sigiriya rock fortress and dambulla cave temple. After discovering these famous sites, we continue our day by a promenade on Elephant in Habarana around Lake Circle. Overnight in Sigiriya.
Day 3: Sigirirya – Tricomalee. ~ 130 km
We keep riding to Tricomalee though the dense and natural forests where you could see wild elephants, mongoose, peacock, water monitor… after 100 km riding, we arrive at hot well spring water at Kinniyar village, stop for relaxing here. Then we head to Nilaweli pigeon’ island which is very famous for scuba driver. Overnight at hotel just near the beach.
Day 4: Tricomalee – Polonnaruwa. ~ 180 km
On trail riding to Polonnaruwa, we get the novel experiences of sailing on the sea to mutur jetty where it’s started from Trico. After 50 km, we find beautiful Passikuddad & Kalkudad beach where you could have a nice swimming in the shallow waters before getting down the second Kingdom of Sri Lanka called Polonnaruwa.
Day 5: Polonnaruwa – Mahiyangana. ~ 90 km.
After breakfast, we ride to visit the Citadel of King Parakmabahu, the great in Polonnaruwa. Leaving the ancient city, we head to the Dambana passing by lush greenery, veritable & rice fields, huge reservoirs where you could see the Sri Lanka Aborigine’ (Vaddad) people. At the night, we will participate to the traditional dances with Vaddad local people.
Day 6: Mahiyangana – Knuckles. ~ 70 km
In the morning, we visit the Sorabora Lake to see the Sunrise. Birds watching then trekking to Rathna Ella waterfall. Go back to our motorbikes and ride to the Knuckles range in Corbett’s Gap. Visit Meemure village and meet Native people: this is an great opportunity to discover the local life where the villagers always keep the traditional and cultural attitudes toward the forest existence. They rely heavily on the forest for their survival and gain much as 63% of their total income from the forest resources.
Day 7: Knuckles – Kandy. ~ 190 km
This is the most exciting day for you all to get an unforgettable off-road jungle ride though the Knuckles mountain range to Rangala rural village. Stay overnight in Kandy.
Day 8: Kandy and it’s around (no riding today)
We enjoy the salubrious climate in Kandy and it’s around: the last Kingdom of Sri Lanka. Visit Tooth relic temple and participate the traditional Kandyan dance performance.
Day 9: Kandy – Haputhale. ~ 175 km
We get back to the saddles and rising up the hill area to enjoy the wonderful landscape: waterfall, tea plantations, mountain ranges… Stop to visit the Nuwaraeliya city which called the England city where you could see the colonial English Made buildings before heading to Horton ‘plaint where we can enjoy riding on the “Harpin” road. we stay overnight at Haputhale village.
Day 10: Haputhale – Tissamaharama - Yala national park. ~ 160 km
Climb up the climax of the tea plantation which made by famous word “Lipton”. From the top, we could see the six provinces & sailing ships on the eastern cost in a clear day. After zipping the “Lipton tea” pot, we ride to visit the Dyialuma waterfall via Poonagala mountain range then we continue to the Tissamaharama village. We could see and meet the Leopard and other kinds of animals, birds on your way to Yala Safari.
Day 11: Yala Sfari – Mirissa.
We leave Yala and ride along the costal belt up to Unawatuna which is the famous beach of Sri Lanka. On the way, we find Mirissa village: located close to the southern tip of the island of Sri Lanka and only about 200 km from the Equator, this secluded crescent shaped beach is the perfect place to sit back, relax fter over 10 days riding.
Day 12: Mirissa - Rest day on the famous beach.
Day 13: Mirissa – Negombo. ~ 180 km
After breakfast, we prepare for the last day ride of our wonderful journey of Sri Lanka. After reaching Negombo, we ride to Sha Lanka tour base to return the bikes here then transfers to Beach Hotel.
Day 14: Negombo - airport
Shopping & farewell meal then transfers to the airport for departure.
